Quinn McIntyre

Acting South Island Planning Manager

Quinn is TPG's Acting South Island Planning Manager, based in the Queenstown office. Quinn has 13 years’ experience in resource management roles, both in local government and consultancy. The majority of his work has focused on the processing and preparation of resource consent applications. Quinn’s strengths in resource consenting are his ability to identify the issues and find solutions. He has strong general project management skills to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time and within budget.

Quinn is also a Certified Environmental Practitioner who specialises in construction environmental management. This includes extensive experience preparing and reviewing Environmental Management Plans and Erosion and Sediment Control Plans on a wide variety of construction projects in New Zealand and Australia. 

Prior to joining TPG, Quinn was the Resource Consents Manager for the Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) where he gained extensive knowledge and understanding of the systems, processes and needs of the Council and territorial local authorities in general.

He has also held the role of Environmental Manager in a design and construction joint venture program tasked with the reconstruction of the damaged roading network in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast region following the Queensland floods of 2010. This involved the delivery of all planning and environmental components through all stages of the project.

Quinn has been involved in resource management associated with a wide variety of projects in many different sectors including property development, subdivision, construction, water management, farming, ports, roading, rail, telecommunications, electricity, renewable energy, oil and gas.
