Shaun Dornbusch

Shaun is the General Manager of TPG's South Island region, based in our Christchurch office.

Joining TPG in 2010, Shaun has been largely involved in acquiring land for the Canterbury Roads of National Significance projects. After having worked heavily in Public Works acquisitions, Shaun has taken on leading roles in both the Christchurch Southern Motorway – Stage 2 and Christchurch Western Corridor projects. This work involves property negotiation, report and agreement preparation, investigating and determining land status, and project management, and has seen Shaun develop a depth of specialised property knowledge.

Shaun is a LINZ Accredited Supplier in the categories of Acquisition of Land for Public Works and Assessment of Compensation. He has also been heavily involved in the acquisition of complex properties and businesses affected by the Canterbury Roads of National Significance.

Shaun’s greatest achievement to date is leading the Property discipline for the North Canterbury Transport Infrastructure Recovery (NCTIR) project, which is NZ’s biggest infrastructure project. He is also a committee member for both the PINZ - Institute of Property Advisors and Consultants and the PINZ – Canterbury and Westland Branch.
