Natasha Rivai

Natasha is the Planning Manager – Auckland & Northland, based at TPG’s Auckland office.

Natasha is a qualified planning and resource management professional with over 16 years’ experience in private consulting. Whilst predominately having an Auckland and Northland focus, her experience includes providing development planning advice and preparing and managing resource consents throughout New Zealand. Natasha’s experience has enabled her to work with a variety of territorial and requiring authorities, technical experts, in managing expectations, outcomes and dealing with various issues that arise throughout the consent process.

Natasha’s experience includes preparing as well as processing a range of resource consents in the Auckland and Northland, and involvement in policy framework through private plan changes, district plan review processes and submissions across New Zealand. This has provided a solid understanding of the various planning processes and expectations of the various territorial authorities.

Natasha regularly undertakes due diligence and feasibility assessments in relation to residential developments for both public and private sector clients. Natasha is currently engaged as the lead consultant on a private plan change applications for a large commercial redevelopment in Blockhouse Bay, Auckland and a rezoning in Whenuapai, Auckland. Natasha also assists various requiring authorities with establishment of new designations, alterations to existing designations and the outline plan of works processes.
