Graeme Bates

Graeme is a Senior Property Consultant based at TPG’s Tauranga office.

Graeme has had over 30 years’ experience in the acquisition and disposal of land under the Public Works Act 1981, as well as vast experience in property development, residential care management and business management. Graeme has an enviable reputation for negotiating very complex compensation claims including personally concluding over 2,000 Public Works Act 1981 transactions.

Graeme has provided significant input and consultation for public open days in relation to numerous proposed Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency projects. Graeme has also provided specialist consulting advice to Genesis Power Limited in relation to a number of its rural holdings at Mercer.
