Hear from Tiana-mya So'oialo

Tiana-mya joined TPG in 2025 as a People and Culture Coordinator in Wellington. Early in her career, she was looking for more autonomy, a supportive culture and a place where she could keep learning. She found that at TPG, where she is trusted to take ownership of her work while building strong connections across the business.

Working in a national People and Culture team has given Tiana-mya exposure to people at all levels of the business, from consultants and people leaders to the Chief Executive. Sitting in on interviews, supporting people initiatives and seeing colleagues grow have helped her build confidence and understand the business more deeply.

Tiana-mya describes TPG as high-performing, welcoming and easy to be part of. She enjoys being surrounded by people who care about doing quality work, support each other and celebrate success. One year into her TPG career, she is already a strong advocate for the opportunities, culture and people that make the business feel like the right place to grow.
