People feel so connected to their homes. They have lived there for a long time. Our work with the Council and the homeowners meant that people could settle, and they could move on.

Liv joined TPG’s graduate development programme in 2022 and is now an Intermediate Property Consultant. She works across a wide range of projects, from transport and rail infrastructure to residential property buyouts. Her role includes site visits, consulting with landowners and working with central and local government agencies. This variety has continued to build her experience and confidence as a consultant.

Auckland Council’s 2023 flood buyout programme is a strong example of work that has shaped Liv’s experience. TPG supported the Council and property owners through complex property decisions after an extreme weather event. This work helped people understand their options, make informed decisions, and move on with their lives.

From her first days at TPG, Liv learned from experienced consultants and built strong relationships across the business. Those connections gave her guidance, trust, and opportunities to develop sooner than she expected. Now, she is paying that support forward by leading two graduates and helping them build their own confidence and capability.
