Katrina Ellis

Katrina is the Planning Manager of the South Island region, based at TPG’s Queenstown office.

Katrina manages TPG’s South Island planning team, focusing on her and the team managing complex planning processes and achieving successful project outcomes.

With over 14 years of planning experience, Katrina’s expertise includes strategic planning advice, policy development, consenting, master planning, and large infrastructure projects. This includes preparing evidence and presenting at Council hearings, and participating in Environment Court mediation, joint witness conferencing and hearings. She has resolved resource consent and policy appeals for Council and other clients.

Katrina has acted as a delegated authority under the RMA for Queenstown Lakes District Council, Wellington City Council, Gore District Council and Southland District Council. She has been an accredited Commissioner since 2020.
