James Hanright

James is a Property Consultant based at TPG’s Tauranga office.

James is focussed on delivery for NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) and working with our local Councils on a myriad of property management, acquisition and strategic projects. Since joining TPG James has been active in both disposal and acquisition of property on behalf of Central Government and Territorial Local Authorities. Alongside this, James has contributed to large GIS projects by capturing, reviewing and analysing infrastructure assets nationwide and has overseen the survey and legalisation on several projects.

Prior to Joining TPG, James was heavily involved in Waikato property for over a decade, both as a residential Property Manager for private real estate companies and as a Leasing Officer for Waikato District Council. Having managed both large housing portfolios and leasing portfolios prior to joining TPG, James has experience when it comes to managing property, people, legislation and expectations.

James brings a unique amalgamation of tenancy management expertise and local government knowledge to his role at TPG.
