Chris Jones

Chris is Principal Consultant based at TPG’s Christchurch office.

Chris has a wealth of experience having worked within the Crown and Public property sector for over 25 years. His experience has enabled him to become a subject matter expert in land status, acquisition, and disposal of Crown and Local Authority property.

Chris has several qualifications in Survey Draughting, GIS/LIS, and valuation and property management. His expertise has been recognised with him achieving LINZ Accreditation across all categories.

Chris has significant experience in delivering property solutions for Local and Central Government organisations including:

• Preparation, management, and delivery of significant acquisition and disposal programmes for Roading and Three Waters infrastructure projects
• Land Status Research including researching, data analysis, interpretation of a wide array of land-related information
• Due diligence and site investigations
• Road Stopping actions and Reserve classification, revocation, and exchange.
