Cassie Davison
Cassie is a Senior Property Consultant based at TPG’s Hamilton Office.
Cassie graduated from the University of Waikato with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Psychology. Cassie was then admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, and initially assisted with the project management of a New Zealand iwi as they were navigating their settlement redress with the government.
From there, her role grew into specialising in treaty settlement negotiations before she moved on to work as a property lawyer for nearly a decade. As a property lawyer, Cassie has dealt with a wide range of private and commercial matters. Cassie has experience providing expert property advice to a wide range of clients including in a PWA context, acting for private parties.
One of the key aspects of her previous role was in property development and subdivision work, which required an in-depth understanding of property principles.
Cassie is also one of six lawyers in New Zealand who sit as members of the New Zealand Law Society Property Law Section Land Titles Subcommittee, which partners with surveyors and Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand to focus on monitoring and assisting with the development and implementation of Landonline in New Zealand.
