Brett Osborne

Brett is a Principal Planner at TPG's Wellington office.

Brett has over 25 years' experience in both the public and private planning sector with a strong background in resource consents both preparing applications for clients and processing for regional and city councils.

Brett has experience in large scale, multi-disciplinary proposals and joint applications to regional councils, leading notified applications to hearings while also providing ongoing processing support for a range of non-notified applications.

Brett's policy experience includes preparing and leading council-initiated plan changes for natural hazards, coastal hazards and natural environment chapters and providing evidence through the hearing phase. Brett also provides evidence in Hearings and acting as a planning expert in Environment Court mediation.

Brett is a full member of the NZPI and has considerable local government experience and skills in leading a project team.
