We are over the moon to see Transmission Gully – Te Ara Nui o Te Rangihaeata open in March 2022. One of New Zealand’s largest ever infrastructure projects, this 27km motorway running between Wellington and Kāpiti has now achieved its aim to provide a more reliable access to New Zealand’s capital city.
TPG was engaged by NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) to acquire all property interests needed to build the project. Property interests were secured within strict project timeframes and were a crucial milestone of the broader infrastructure project goals.
Our teams’ approach was a primary reason that all property related timeframes originally set were met.
