Otara Fire Station Upgrade, Auckland

TPG played a vital role in the upgrading of the Otara Fire Station, to improve the functionality and amenity of the existing facility for the fire brigade.
Our planning team was initially engaged by Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) to obtain resource consent for the proposed upgrade. This resource consent was approved on a non-notified basis with a minimal amount of further information requests.
Our property team, working closely with the planning team, then secured a temporary site along with the necessary resource consents for FENZ to operate out of while upgrade to the existing facility was completed.
Construction of the new fire station was completed early 2023.
