Graduate Development Programme FAQ's

We have put together responses to common questions about our graduate programme.

What is TPG looking for in a graduate?

As a specialist property consultancy, we are incredibly proud to have a diverse team of passionate consultants. We want to hear from graduates of all backgrounds who are:

  • Graduating from a relevant degree, or if you graduated within the last 2 years

  • Genuinely interested in a career in property and consultancy

  • Passionate about TPG’s purpose and values

  • Focussed on quality and take pride in their work (and their application).

When would I start work?

Our next graduate intake will commence in January 2026, allowing you to join us feeling refreshed after a good break. We might be able to offer some flexibility regarding the start date; however, our graduates really benefit from all starting together.

Where can I work?

With 13 offices nationwide, our priority is to place our graduates in offices where they will get the best support. Where possible, we match you to your preferred location. To increase your chances of securing a place in our graduate programme, we recommend you are as flexible as possible and open to multiple locations. We also support graduates in relocating to other offices down the line if it works for everyone.

How can I make my application stand out?

First impressions matter. Remember to include a cover letter and your CV in your initial application. Your cover letter is an opportunity to share more about yourself and explain why you’re keen to join TPG’s graduate programme. Your CV outlines your experience, skills, and interests. Together, they provide an excellent overview of who you are and why you want to be part of our team. As you navigate the application process, we will offer more tips to help you present your best self forward.

What do TPG graduates get paid?

We offer our graduates a competitive salary that includes four 6-monthly remuneration reviews as part of the program. Additionally, we offer a performance bonus for those going above and beyond in their role.

Do graduates get any other benefits?

At TPG we have a wide range of benefits available to our team.  Some of our benefits include:

  • Fully subsidised health insurance following one year of employment

  • Financial contribution for study assistance, and leave, for relevant and approved academic study
