Learning and development
We take learning and development (L&D) seriously and it is at the heart of our investment in our people. Our learning and development programme is designed to support personal and professional growth and encourage our people to progress their career with us. We support a variety of L&D initiatives including an in-house professional development programme, support for external courses, conferences and professional memberships, an academic study program and on-the-job coaching and mentoring.
We believe in the importance of supporting the community around us. We choose to partner with the New Zealand charity KidsCan, getting involved with their fundraising as well as running our own fundraising events. TPG matches all money raised and doubles it, making a real difference to New Zealand kids who need it. We’re proud of our relationship with KidsCan and we encourage our employees to get involved in these opportunities.
Having fun along the way
At TPG everyone works hard to deliver to our clients, but we are a social group and we like to have fun along the way. Each of our offices have developed their own social rhythms and rituals from morning tea, the lunchtime quiz or a Friday beer. Our annual Forum, a fully funded weekend away, is a real social highlight of the year and a great opportunity to meet the team from across the country and have fun together.
