Director of Planning

Andrew is TPG's Director - Planning, based in our Wellington office. Andrew has significant experience in dealing with a full range of Resource Management Act (RMA) matters. He oversees TPG’s growing nationwide team of planners.

Andrew is broadly involved in RMA and planning matters. He gives guest lectures on planning and the RMA at Victoria University of Wellington, provides strategic advice to the executive teams of various local authorities regarding their responsibilities and options on a range of RMA matters, and gives presentations and prepares papers on planning matters in a range of forums including New Zealand Planning Institute conferences.

Andrew has a particularly deep knowledge of district plans and RMA matters in the Wellington metropolitan area where he has been based since 2005. In recent years, he has worked closely with Wellington City Council on various strategic revitalisation initiatives involving urban planning and design considerations.
