TPG’s ‘Summer of Learning’ has kicked off again for another year, as we welcome Madi Johnson to our Auckland office as an Intern Property Consultant over the university summer break. Madi is currently studying towards her Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Auckland, and is excited to have the opportunity to gain exposure to many different areas of the business and expand on her skills and knowledge in the property field.
Internships are a valuable first step in many students’ career development and also a great way for us to build a pipeline of talented people ready to get stuck into the property industry. Interns and graduates are a valuable source of talent for TPG. They represent the future of our workforce and we welcome the new ideas and perspectives that our interns and graduates bring.
Our internships are designed to introduce interns to the wide range of work we do at TPG and provide them with valuable work exposure in their area of study or career interest. Each intern is paired with a dedicated manager and is given the opportunity to contribute to important projects, and work with our clients.
Last years summer intern, Jessie Lovrich from our Auckland office said “It was great to be exposed to the variety of work that TPG has to offer, and the wide range of clients which they work with. No two days have ever been the same! This has been a rewarding experience, allowing me to put my problem-solving skills to the test and my university studies into practice. I have been exposed to numerous networking encounters, both within TPG and externally alongside clients."
We are thrilled to welcome Madi on board and excited to have her as part of the team!
