Sam Burr

Sam is a Senior Property Consultant based at TPG’s Whangārei office. 

Sam joined TPG in Christchurch in 2021 and has since relocated to our Whangārei. Sam previously worked in commercial property for a global property service provider in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom. Working as an Asset Manager, Sam has extensive experience in the strategic management of high value property assets.

Prior to joining TPG, Sams work involved active strategic asset management of high value property assets. Sam was responsible for the performance of his client’s key assets and strategic management and financial reporting.

Sam coordinated several significant upgrade projects whilst in the UK. Notably, the successful re-development and extension of an office buildings in Central London. His involvement and stakeholder engagement during the partial demolition and extension of a 7-story office building with office tenants in situ was a particularly challenging assignment. Sam’s skill in communication and stakeholder management was key to the successful completion of the development.

Sam also led a project for consolidation of ANZ Bank’s retail branch portfolio in Western Australia. This involved feasibility studies and assessments of regional hubs which informed a program of withdrawing from a number of regional locations to align with ANZ’s future business plans.
