Greg Ball

Greg is the founder of TPG and is based at our Wellington office.

In 1999, he led a management buyout and formed TPG, where he was Managing Director for 13 years (1999-2012). Greg has strong negotiation skills and specialises in business/strategic planning, general/change management and project management.

He has been involved in the property industry all his working life and was instrumental in establishing a Crown Owned Property Consultancy Company in 1996.

Greg is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors, (CMInstD) a Fellow of the Property Institute of New Zealand (PINZ) and a Registered Property Manager, Property Consultant and Crown Accredited Supplier.

In 2008, Greg was recognised by his peers by receiving PINZ’s supreme award, The Property Industry Award. This award is presented to an individual in a public or private capacity who has demonstrated the qualities of leadership and vision and who has positively impacted on the property sector, economy and community. In 2019 Greg received another prestigious PINZ accolade, being their Property Advisor of the Year Award, which recognises exceptional service to the public and property industry of New Zealand. Greg is a recent past President and long-term Board Member of PINZ.
